Tithorea Forest

The Aesthetic Forest of Tirothea lies on the northeastern side of Mount Parnassus and rises above its homonymous village. With an altitude which ranges from 500 m to 1,200 it covers an area of 200 hectares. The forest has really interesting geomorphology, with karst caves and palaeontological rocks.

The Aesthetic Forest of Tirothea has been reported to have a rich floral and faunal life while at the same time the karst formations and caves create special attraction to the area.
